We aim to support and promote Christian Education, in part, by providing advocacy for Directors of Christian Education.

We understand advocacy to be action prayerfully taken, under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, on behalf of or in support of someone or something. Through communication and conversation with field DCE’s along with local, district and national leaders, NADCE continues to advocate for Directors of Christian Education and their well-being. The focus of NADCE’s advocacy in this season is to:

• be an active presence at local, district, and national gatherings of the Synod.
• promote the health and well-being of DCEs
• support excellence in training, continuing education, and ethical guidelines for DCEs.
• encourage efforts to recruit and to call DCEs
• provide supportive guidelines for DCEs in crisis and in transition
• facilitate positive resolutions related to Christian Education and DCE ministry.
