Join Us

The National Association of Directors of Christian Education (NADCE) exists to support you promoting Christian education by providing advocacy, professional connections, and resources. We are an Recognized Service Organization (RSO) of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod. 

NADCE is a professional organization comprised mostly of Directors of Christian Education (DCEs) in The Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) who are responsible for the faith formation of children, youth and adults, and are serving in local parishes, districts, universities, and other nontraditional ministry settings. 

All rostered Commissioned ministers classified as DCEs of the LCMS are eligible to become members of the NADCE including active, candidate, and emeritus DCEs can join as voting members.

Others may join the NADCE as non-voting members. People who may find joining the NADCE valuable in their professional development include other rostered Commissioned and/or Ordained members of LCMS, students enrolled in a DCE training program, and lay people who are responsible for the faith formation of children, youth and adults may join a non-voting members.

When you join us, your regular yearly membership is $75.00. For retired DCES and new graduates, the yearly membership fee is $50.00. After the first year, new graduate convert to a regular membership. For students enrolled in a DCE program, please contact your program director for a special membership offer while you are a student.

Membership renewal will occur on the anniversary date of the initial membership.
